So I’m thinking about the Ultradot 30. But it has a 4 MOA dot. But it has brightness settings.
I had a 4 MOA Fastfire 2, but it had no brightness adjustments. Put it on a 22, but that dot was WAY too big to hunt small game with.
How much advantage does the adjustable brightness give the 4 MOA dot over a dot that is always on the brightest setting? I’ve got in my head that a three MOA dot is the biggest i want, but that is because my Fast Fire 3 has a 3 MOA dot, but it has adjustable brightness.
I did not think to compare the two with the FF3 on its brightest setting to answer my owm question before i sold the FF2.

Well I didn’t get to shoot my 480 this weekend. The weigand rail needed some minor fitting. With the back of the rail in position, the front of the rail hit the back of the sight base. I filed a little off the rail and got a good fit, but I didn’t want to be rushed and screw it up. There is always next weekend. Best to not rush!
