I'm new here but it seems like you guys are into more than just guns. Like Boge's guitar collection. How about a roll-call of non-gun hobbies? Presonally my other passion is coin collecting. It began as a kid and has grown ever since. Not tryin to be nosey but this seems like a pretty diverse group.

One of my favorite nongun past times involves raising healthy all natural food for may family and others. This means no drugs, chemical fertilizers, hormone implants and even very little if any grain products for the cows. This is an example of the type of critters this involves. He is a two year old Scottish Highlander steer that is typical of the animals I prefer to provide customers with. The second is teaching youngsters about the outdoors and hunting. This was these litttle guys first elk hunting trip across the state. They are now shooters for life.

I don't know what it is, but, the Mrs and I go to the Scottish Fair every year here in Minnesota. They alway have some of those Highland Cattle. I could sit and just watch those fellers all day long...very relaxing for some reason.

That's neat majorKap. Don't know how long you've been into AHRMA, but did you ever run the old track in Aquasco, Maryland? I think it closed in around 1999. -Lee www.singleactions.com

I haven't been there, Lee. But, you can bet I'll be at Budd's Creek next September. It's on the schedule for 2010.

I like to make leather holsters, trying to make it into a part time business. I also make custom fishing rods. My middle son fishing on the Skagit River this summer. Eugene

Biker here, pilot a modified Buell S3, did the motor mods myself.
I'm a political activist and like to hunt down (figuratively speaking!) the idiotic companies making and counties using bad voting machines. Nationally known in that field.

My big interest in life revolves around hunting waterfowl, specifically duck hunting. From January to Sept, I carve decoys out of cedar or cork. Some I sell, some I donate to DU, some are for me:)
Continuing my duck hunting obsession, I also build boats. So far I've built 3 duck boats, the biggest being a 16' garvey style boat designed by Sam Devlin of Washington State.
And right behind duck hunting is my interest in shooting, all kinds of shooting. Skeet, single actions, and Colt double actions. All expensive hobbies.
