The thread on the Single Action forum lead to to post some pics of some of my favorite easy to shoot cartridges: Top is an I frame S&W in .32 S&W Long 2nd row on the left is a 4" Model 10 in .38 Special, to it's right, a Victory Model in .38 S&W. Bottom row left, a 6" K frame in .38 Special, next to it is a 6" K frame in .38 S&W. All have a goodly amount of wear, but all are tight and shoot well. The .32 and 6" 38 S&W have been reblued. They were cheap and different enough that I had to get them. Never a minutes regret as they all shoot great. I particularly like the lanyard loop on the 6" model. The 6" 38 S&W came with the cheesy plastic grips and I swapped in a set of original wood grips, but actually like the feel of the cheap plastic grips better. I'll have to find something better but for now, they'll do.

That's a nice bunch of Smiths, z1r. Even the "stag" grips are cool. They remind me of grips some of my 50s cowboy heroes had on their sixguns.

Those all look real dandy’s but the little I frame .32 is perfection, love it.

That's some really nice old Smiths. Think any true revolver guy would treasure those.

Coming back. I think the good old S&W mod 10 is a hugely under rated as a fun gun to shoot. It's usually very accurate, pleasant to shoot, & the ones I've shot shoot pretty close to the sights with 148 to 158 grain loads. A good wadcutter load is very accurate, shoots close to the sights, & is a very fun load.

I really enjoy my S&W model 15 combat masterpiece shooting my reloads of Speer 148 gn. hbwc over 3 gn. BullsEye. By using a rest over a bag it produces a ragged one hole group @ 25 yds.
