I have one of those arbor presses like bench rest shooters use and it works great with Paco's tool. I never liked the idea of whacking a loaded rimfire round with a hammer/mallet. I purchased the "nasty nose" tool with one end for .22 autos and the other for .22 revolvers. I shot a big coon one day at about thirty yards and not only was he DRT, you would not believe the exit wound. After that it was all I used on skunks and snakes.
