I need a set for a Bisley project I'm ready to begin on, I have some on backorder but I don't know for sure when I'll get them? Anyone here have a set that'd they'd be willing to sell? If so, please PM me. ..Thanks.

Use a nut to match the threads. David Bradshaw

If only it were that easy! The threads are 6x48 ... Very uncommon pitch except in firearms, I doubt any hardware store in 1000 miles carries such a screw, let alone a socket head cap screw such as those used on the Bisley backstrap.

Stainless I have, no blue. The gun I'm working on is Stainless...And, I believe that's all Ruger is using for those screws anymore.

I am not sure of thread pitch but I sheared the torx screw in front of the trigger guard on my BFR. I was able to replace it at the local Ace Hardware store.

I ordered all kinds of extra Ruger screws off Midway, as I misplaced my screws while my grip frame was in TX... not too badly priced, so I ordered extras for my plowhandles too

Another place to look for small, odd thread pitch screws is a RC Hobby shop.

I ordered a box of the correct pitch screw and slightly longer screws from McMaster Carr. The problem is the head diameter. The Ruger screw is slightly smaller than the ordered screw. Luckily I can easily correct that diameter at work. After correcting the head diameter....a little cold blue dipping bath and viola, I have a good replacement option.
Bullseye, how many do you need?

The standard grip frame screws work as well. My Bisley from the eighties shipped with slotted screws.
