Ha! Just kidding! You guys think the frame would be strong enough to chamber low pressure ceterfire rounds? Would be great in .32 S&W Long, or maybe a centerfire .25 Cal. ?

I would be all for a 32 S&W Long. Unfortunately, I think they would sell 1 for every 200-1000 22LR Wrangler’s.

SOME OF THE GUYS ON THESE GUN WEB SITES MAY KNOW ABOUT THE 32 S&W LONG/32 COLT NEW POLICE (SAME CARTRIDGE), EVEN FEWER MAY ACTUALLY OWN ONE, BUT "OUT THERE" IN THE REST OF THE WORLD IT WUD NOT MAKE ECONOMIC SENSE TO MAKE A 32 S&W LONG, TOO BAD AS IT IS A VERY ACCURATE AND PLEASANT TO SHOOT ROUND. SEVERAL YEARS AGO AT A GUN SHOW AN EXHIBITOR HAD A COLT DETECTIVE SPECIAL, 1950's, WITH THE PLASTIC "COLT WOOD" GRIPS, AND SEVERAL BOXES OF AMMUNITION, FOR SALE. THE GUN HAD BEEN CARRIED BY A DETECTIVE SO HAD SOME CARRY WEAR BUT WAS IN EXCELLENT MECHANICAL CONDITION. THE EXHIBITOR WAS EXASPERATED BECAUSE THERE WAS ZERO INTEREST IN THE GUN, UNTIL I WALKED UP. I BOUGHT THE GUN AND AMMO FOR $225 OR $250, CAN'T RECALL WHICH, BUT EITHER WAY IT WAS A HECK OF A DEAL, AND BOY IS THAT GUN A SHOOTER!

I’d buy one but I doubt they’d sell enough to make it worth their trouble.

I came across a 3” Smith & Wesson (.32 Long) about three years ago. I didn’t have ready cash and when I went back a couple of days later with money in hand, it was gone. It was blued, possibly a Model 30, but I’m not certain. What I do remember is the J-frame was in excellent condition.
I have often hoped at another chance to get my own vintage Smith (in this caliber)... but, sadly, they are few and far between. -“The One That Got Away”

Ya’ll do realize that the introduction of the Wrangler just begs for those machinists amongst to whip out an aluminum Bisley gripframe and “perfect” the lil lightweight packing pistol

My Walther GSP-C and the resulting dedicated Dillon SDB 32 Long loader introduced me to the 32 Long. I routinely feed full wadcutter 32 Long to my 32mag and 327 revolvers. I have been watching a 32 Long model 31 "I" frame S&W in the used gun case...
