MMMMM...mmmmm. Look at those Ropers!
Shipped to White Sands, apparently for military match shooting. I bet someone stationed at White Sands didn't have a lot to do in his spare time other than shoot. If Uncle Sam was providing the ammo, all the better.

Yeah, I was out that way last summer and I can imagine that's what I'd spend my time doing there as well.
Are those actual Ropers, or factory grips in the Roper style? I seem to recall a company putting factory Roper style stocks on their guns. Maybe Hi-Standard?
Regardless, neat piece that's commanding a premium over the normally bargain priced old Colt DA guns.

Those are Ropers. I think you could order Ropers from Colt when ordering a gun, but a serious target shooter would just as likely have ordered them himself. Either way, they are a nice addition to that gun. No $2750 nice, but nice.
