Last of our last snow melting right now. I always wanted my own glacier too. Sigh. I've told friends and family, that if I win the lottery am gonna get one of them big snow machines like the ski resorts have and mount it on my roof ! Whats one of them things cost anyway ?

a look out my window this morning... a fresh 1" last night... but sun is out now, & it's disappearing fast... seriously... most, but the drifts & piles was gone... but I still have a 7ft tall drift in my windbreak... if the leaves start coming soon, that drift may still b e here in July...

Our spring has come about 5 weeks early. Never seen anything like this! Most of our snow is gone, some still in the woods. Its not that I mind the warm temps. Just that there is a lot involved with our seasons. We had well below average snow depth this winter also. The Wrangel's are starting to show more rock than I've ever seen this time of year. Hope our salmon runs are ok.
