We normally all have our mind made up on what we want to do to a particular project. It is come to my attention that a lot of times we are worried about appearance, grips and things of that nature before we go to the basics. Now don’t get me wrong I’m a finish guy but I also think accuracy is the most important goal we have here. We did some testing of some factory Ruger revolvers without the action work, trigger work, and a new barrel crown. The results were staggering. We are getting groups out of factory guns with very minimal work that would make any of us proud. I don’t get me wrong I’d love to make them pretty for you and we’re here to help in anyway we can. Thanks Bobby

I couldn’t agree more. And this is why testing some revolvers is so tough. Many factory triggers are horrible out of the box. I’ve done many a poor man’s trigger job on Ruger single-actions prior to testing. The trigger is extremely important to shooting well and accurately.

Thanks for weighing in here Bobby. Pretty doesn't matter if it won't shoot.

For a lot of folks, pretty is really all that’s important. Can’t tell you how many folks i know around here that have a ton of beautiful guns that they’ve never shot.
I dont get to shoot as much as I’d like but i dont really own one i won’t shoot. And i want it to shoot where I aim when i do, at least as much as I can...

If I recall correctly,, Col. Townsen Whelen once said; "Only accurate rifles are worth discussing." or at least something like that.
And I agree it's just as important in handguns. Accuracy must come first,, and when it's an accurate gun,, folks will QUICKLY overlook a bit of cosmetic flaws.
And as always Bobby,, good to hear from you and to see you again at SHOT. Your work has quickly gained a lot of attention that is WELL deserved!
(PS; Folks,, get the latest Brownells catalog,, # 71,, and you'll see his smiling face!
