It's a beautiful gun but I will never understand guns like that that have never seen the field. We can all imagine how great this gun would handle.
Guns are for shooting....

Friend who was FFL was asked to help hospice patient sell off his gun collection. Then he checked out what guy had and was shocked. Lots (several hundred?) of NIB (with tags, receipts, etc) high end, highly collectible handguns, rifles, and shotguns. Seems like his conservative estimate was well over a million dollars in firearms and knives.
Considered hiring professional photographer to do photos and computer person to do website; but... He ultimately gave them some advice and passed on it. Decided job was too big for him at that point.
Wouldn't surprise me if this is similar situation.

That '86 Winchester he's selling is something else too.

I rented a hunters cabin from a man in Tule Lake, CA in the early 90's while I was on a project. He had about 400 prewar Winchesters, predominately lever actions, predominately NIB. It was just an investment in "art" to him. He wasn't much of a shooter. He had a concrete block building out back disguised as an old barn. Humidity is single digit in that part of the world most days.

Would make one heck of a gun for cottontails tippy-toeing through the briar patch!

It does make me a bit sad to think these have never been shot.
