Within state, no FFL required on either end (at least in OH). The problem lies in the shipping company. UPS company policy: no Firearms. Some locations will, still not policy. Unless this is a very recent policy change, UPS will take firearms but only at corporate locations, not the “My UPS” or contract places. Some of the clerks will require handholding and a call to a supervisor to comfort them over having to handle an evil, boxed up weapon, but I’ve always successfully shipped the gun. It ain’t cheap. Getting your FFL to ship it USPS flat rate is almost always cheaper until you start shipping the high dollar, large insurance cost guns. Tim

As above, UPS will ship but its costly and a PITA. The nearest hub is a half hour drive and has really goofy hours, no thanks! FedEx is even stupider if that's possible. I always ship rifles via USPS. Have Never been asked to verify contents, ever. Only dumb thing I ran into once was a clerk insisted I fill out a manufacturer/gunsmith form to ship. I explained it was not only not required but would make me a criminal for falsely stating my status as I am neither of those. When next I saw that clerk she said "you were so right about this". Yes, I know...

Money sent and weapon enroute to my FFL (not the box store I work for). Hopefully the little K9 will arrive in Lewiston, Idaho and shortly thereafter, which is right after I get off work the Kahr will be mine. By Friday!
Wanted a K9 all steel 9mm since 1995, Got this one at the right price and perfect timing. I have owned 7 Kahrs over the years and still own 3 not counting the K9. Have only ever had a problem with one, that was a CM45. Kahr fixed it pronto. After 39 years of packing S&W Ks and Ns for a living along with 1911s and one Glock, the 23 oz K9 is no sweat. Will post pics when it all comes together at the range.
Thanks everyone for your help, I've learned a lot including the difference between corporate policy and government regulations. And that is a good thing!

I thought I remembered from years ago they would not.

After the fiasco I endured trying to get my powder valley shipment from fed-ex, I will use my favorite ffl to ship any firearms. Fed-ex is the worst. I don’t know how they stay in business!

Got to the range last night, and squeezed in 15 minutes before a league shoot. Had just enough time to shoot a box of Federal AE 115 grainers, 50 rounds fast and true. This little sucker shoots a lot tighter groups than my CW9. It will go to the range again for some serious work when I have time. Shoveling snow today off my travel trailer and out of my sidewalks and driveway.
No jams or surprises in a fast fifty in both mags as fast as I could run the trigger.
