What barrel lengths were originally factory available on the Old Model Three Screw Blackhawks in .41 Magnum? Maybe 4-5/8” and 6-1/2”?

Just making sure. I saw one for sale locally with a 5-1/2” and a red insert. It’s been cut down obviously.

I'd like a large frame 3 screw 41 to shoot the heavier, longer bullets. Standing by for a pic if you end up with it.

May be a opportunity to pick up a 3 screw at a good price. Seems the orginial .41 mags in my area are getting expensive, especially the 4&5/8.

I picked up an old model 4-5/8 a few years back and have a spare 6.5" red-insert barrel on the bench. I haven't decided if it's going on or not yet. It's a fun little blaster for sure!

Could be a great opportunity to get a stout little revolver. AND convert it to Bisley!!! Probably not. I have a set of Sambar stags in my safe that’s been waiting for one of these for probably 10 years. On the road this week and hoping he still has it when I get back home Friday. Actually I grabbed another pair of stags in Knoxville at a gun show last weekend. Now I have two sets of stag grips and a front sight I need guns for!!!!

All this talk got me worked up! I just had to go out and run some rounds (PMC 210gr TCSP's)through mine. I forgot just how much that gun barks and bites even with standard factory PMC loads! What a great little blaster. I hope to OP buys it.

Ain’t she ugly... Pachmayr rubber grips and pink fingernail polish on the front sight. But, it hasn’t been shot much and seems pretty tight and clean for its age. Came with a 6.5” barrel. I have a set of stags just waiting to go on this one.
