Price is in reason right now (800). Nice fun little meat rifle and brass is plentiful through Starline. A friend had one right after Browning came out with them. The nice thing about the B53s was they all had great wood. Although not traditional, the pistol grip is comfortable. If your looking for a 32-20 frame that can take a case of H110, look no further. Your other option is to hunt GB for a Miruko 32-20. Japchester has made two runs in the past twenty years, both 500#, one for the european CAS market which only a few were available here and a Davidson's run or a 20" Octagonal. The wood was run of the mill, mayby slightly better and the best street price started @ 1100.
Granted, these aren't originals but after 18 months looking hard, the 600-1500 market had the possible relining in the future for a shooter so I opted for the modern steel receiver and new barrel. The tang safety was a given and the inertia hammer delete is easy (no additional parts needed), afterwards, the heavy mainspring cane be tamed.
