I have no dog in the fight but I've heard whispers of them on the forum before. Too pricey for me right now, but I would love to own one if I ever saw it come up locally! www.gunbroker.com/item/795682969

There's a little windage dialed in on that...

Its wearing a No.1 front sight, is that typical? $1800 is a little too steap for me too, convertible or not!

I just went back into my records, I paid 475 for my non convertible HMR ten years or so ago. Sack Peterson stags.

I don't have a interest in the non-convertible. I would like a 17mach2, not so much the HMR, in a revolver just because. The hunter models always intrigued me, but never enough to buy them at the prices they normally command.

Sir if I may ask, why not the HMR? I have a Savage rifle and Ruger pistol in HMR, I don't think I'd know the difference.

Sir if I may ask, why not the HMR? I have a Savage rifle and Ruger pistol in HMR, I don't think I'd know the difference. "Because" is literally the only reason I can provide for you. I just like the little mini round more than the HMR for aesthetic reasons I suppose. Not that it's any better or worse than the HMR, of course.
