For looks, I like the tall blade with short base. As for function, I haven’t used anything like this and don’t know what would work best.

Additional info based on questions received. Thanks for asking!
Red Loctite is pretty serious adhesive. Unless you get your barrel hot enough to melt it, it ain’t going to let go.
Bobby Tyler does a sight install for 125 and includes recutting the crown. John Powers does a sight install for 100 US.

Fermin... is it possible to add a screw ( to screw the sight to the barrel ) under the "mirror" I'm not a big fan of soldered front sight bases, unless the blade is pinned so it could be changed...

I liked it the first time I saw it. The low base with the tall post gets my vote, though I’d probably have to buy a gun to put it on. Unless...... you could make it attach with a smaller screw head recessed under the canted mirror setting. Insert smiley face. Ok edited to add if the taller base could possible work for a screw on I’d go that route. You are in good company brother. Once I had a 30 round 30 Carbine magazine I had to buy a M1 Carbine for. It's an affliction! It might be possible to do a screw on, but the screw couldn't be under the mirror. I have something in mind but I am not ready to let that rat of the corner yet. Need to get my Rat Writ in order first.

Dr. B that’s just a slick example of some of the cool stuff the King sixguns brought to the table.
Here’s the odd thing, as near as I can tell, the more shallow angle refracts MORE light. I built my taller pedestal unit and was pretty surprised when I compared them side by side!

Come on Fermin......... How about a screw on with epoxying the base and glue the shiny part in the hole. Make it easier on use older guys.
