Jack Huntington Bisley .45 Colt

After fooling around with the idea for several years I finally sent My Ruger Bisley .45 Colt to Mr. Huntington for his grip frame modification. I also asked for a 4 5"8 octagonal barrel, JRH front sight base with removable sight blades, Bowen Rough Country rear sight, "fool" with the trigger, set the barrel cylinder gap, and check the cylinder throats for 0.452. and fit a Belt Mountain base pin. Jack was kind enough to fit a set of his walnut stocks to the modified grip frame. I am stunned by the quality of JRH work! My only regret is that I did not do this sooner. I must also say that Jack Huntington is a terrific man as well, it was such a pleasure to work with him.

Beautiful gun! And ++ to the comments about Jack Huntington. I sent an old .44 Mag. Ruger Super Blackhawk to him a couple of years ago to have a 5 shot .45 Colt conversion done and the reshape of the grip frame and trigger guard. A few other touches too. Very pleased

Nicely done....

I had him do a .22 Jet to .327 Federal conversion on a Model 53 two years ago that came out perfect... He now has an Uberti Cattleman in .357 to be converted to .41 Special...
