Via correspondence, Mr. Bowen has mentioned that he now has Anaconda barrels in stock which will produce a 2 3/4" (almost 3" actually) or 4 1/4" barrel .45 or .454 SRH AK GP44 Redhawks. This means the .45 cal Anaconda barrel Redhawk options can be built pretty much on demand at this time while supplies last, and this is going to be a $900 to $1000 option as compared to about double that for L Frame or SP style barrel conversions. All interested can simply contact BCA for full details, but this is something I wanted to get out to my fellow custom revolver nuts ASAP.

Does the base gun HAVE to be a 45 or can a 44 be used? Thanks

I CHECKED THE BCA WEBSITE, NOTHING ON THERE YET. I SUSPECT YOU CUD USE A 44, JUST THE XTRA EXPENSE OF REAMING THE CYLINDER.
