Never been behind one of those but I sure like the profile.

Excellent rendition of the TLA. When you put them into production I'll take a couple.

Will make a great front unit! Have cobbled out a few similar blades for some o& my toys over the years. One day I might get over not being able to purchase the only Improved #5 by TLA that I ever got to see in person

That looks great Fermin. I had one of the renowned gunsmiths build me a gun with the hopes of him duplicating that sight and it came out less than desirable. Sold the gun rather than let the sight bug me the rest of my life.

Nice looking sight. I think a slightly scaled down version would be great on my .44spl Bisley.

I agree the TLA stepped sights are very good profiles. I’d need at least one to go along with the interchangeable set up that will eventually make it to me. Nice work Fermin.

I have a single action Bisley 44 Special that could benefit from such a sight. Nice work!

OK, here are the 2 TLA fronts I made for our resident Sheriff. These are for a 45, not a 454/480 and if you look closely, you will see they are a bit shorter. I accomplished that by simply cutting the barrel radius a bit deeper or taking more material off the bottom if you rather. So the entire sight came down and yet the blade portion of the sight remains the same. Those of you who want a 44 Special sight, again that application would require a shorter overall height and again I would simply cut the difference from the bottom so you would still have plenty of blade to hold over. This would work until we got into the Single Six size guns and then I would have to start from scratch and proportionally reduced the overall size of the base and the blade. I was able to cut these because I have been waiting on a special cutter to finish my BFR clients sights. I got that cutter yesterday so I will be cooking on the those BFR sights but I can hopefully get these TLAs for you without too much delay. Thanks!!

Nice work Fermin. Keep me in mind for my “special needs” TLA style sight. No hurry and as you know it’s a .45 Colt.
