curious if any of you guys have tried these... shopruger.com/Rubber-Grips-with-Rosewood-Inserts-Compact/productinfo/70084/I have a set ordered ( should be here probably tomorrow ) I'm thinking they are likely SP-101 grips that fit a GP??? I'll be sending these, once I get them, & check fit on my GP, to Zane at LSCG, so he can see if the inserts are the same as the SP... then hoping to get a nice set of inserts, as long as I like the feel of the grips, & while they are down there for him to look over... there are lots of Reviews & all I'm seeing are positive anyone else here gotten a set??? Thoughts???

These compact grips are pretty much identical to the standard GP grips, but shorter. The wood insert is an SP insert. Mine came on my 3" fixed sight model.

These grips work great on short barreled GPs. Have had a couple of sets on 3" GPs and work great as a concealed grip.

Magnumwheelman...I have the compact grips on my stainless Gp100 with a six inch barrel and I feel they are superior to the factory grips. They are shorter and have somewhat of a rounded but to them! I'll post a pic of mine in a few. One might note that I do have smaller hands too. A buddy of mine who has larger hands prefers the original grips to these compacts.

My favorite GP grip as well and especially nice for carrying under a jacket.
