This was a standard blued 6.5" SS6 32mag. I made it a 2 tone, sheriffs model with PC 3 click w/half cock hammer/trigger. Gary Reeder gun fighter grip frame, I have 5 different front sights I use as well.

This is the first pistol my dad bought for me back in the late 60’s. It is a three screw old model Single Six that originally had a 5-1/2” barrel. The barrel got cut down to 4-5/8”, but the “Gunsmith” that did the work didn’t do a very good job. I found a 9-1/2” barrel and had that installed. This one is .22 LR only: This is a new model Super Single Six with a 9-1/2” barrel. It has the convertible cylinder for .22 mag: This one is an old model three screw Super Single Six with a 6-1/2” barrel. It also has a convertible cylinder for .22 mag:

I don't know how cool this one is. It's kind of holster worn but it's ridden a few gozillion miles on my hip back in my professional trapper days. It's killed more coyotes than mange. Along the way a previous owner installed the Micro sights. I set it up in my Ransom Rest once and it shocked me how well it shot at 25 yards. It easily matched a lot of rifles by putting six in a tiny little dime size cluster.
This one hasn't had many miles on my hip. Yet.

Wise decision, my first was a 9.5" new model. Had loads of fun with that revolver. My next was an SSM in 4 5/8".
Recently picked up a well worn old model 6.5" bbl magnum only. A friend gave me a .22 LR Colorado Centennial cylinder so now it's convertible.
All are as they came from the factory. Never had the need to "upgrade."
That said, if you gussie yours up, do post pics.

mooshoo, are you sure your Single Six didn't come from the factory with those Micro sights? I've seen other Single Sixes, that were factory guns, that had those same sights, or very similar, on them.

It may have come from the factory that way. I guess I should get a factory letter on it and see if that was the case. I know I should get a refinished done and bring it back to nice condition. I kind of like the character it has developed and the wear marks remind me of a simpler time when I spent every day outside with a good handgun on my hip and miles of trapline ahead of me.

58 model i picked up recently. Here is one i also recently acquired 4 digit serial (past the prefix). First 2 are my birthyear. Last 2 my daughter’s. The gun was made the year my wife was born. Liberty model that I added the 22 lr cylinder to Now for the 32s. These 32s all wear upgraded sights by 2 Dogs. (Bisley on the bottom) And lastly, my custom 357 S6.
