This handsome gentleman closed to 20 steps of my ground blind yesterday morning. The 123 grain Hornady SST work it's usual mojo. Bang / Flop. First 10 point of my career, knowledgeable folks said it is a 140 class buck.

Affordable and just plain hard to out shoot...

Nice wide rack for a Georgia Deer. Wonder what he would have looked like in 2 years though?

Any mature buck is a trophy but that is a great buck. Up close adds to the thrill of the hunt.

Up close and personal is THE most fun deer hunting a guy can do in my book. Rut starts soon so that means rattling antlers and grunt tube is coming out here in western Oregon.

Very nice, my kid has one of those CZ's in 7.62x39, he shoots the Win 123g loads. Killed does pretty good. The only thing he didn't like about the gun is the factory sights. He couldn't get the to shoot point of aim at 100y. He even got the other rear from CZ. He ended up getting a peep from NEGC.

Mike My eyes don't gee-haw with open sights anymore, I removed the rear blade and front post and stuck them in the box. Scopes and dots are must for me now when rifle shooting.
