I have three 29-6s. I don't think I could ever see one and not buy it, they are the pinnacle of model 29 performance in my opinion.
I can't tell from the pics but yours appears to be a square butt. Two of mine are that configuration, the other one is a round butt, MIM cyl release and a smooth forged target trigger. These were the later guns. Supposedly there is a late, late 29-6 from around 98 with a MIM trigger, I have never seen one though.

Mine is a square butt. I looked in the S&W Bible, the MIM trigger parts were phased in during -6 production, as was the round butt. So mine is early in the -6 run, 93-94. I don't know that I've ever seen a 29-6 before this one. At least not since I've been aware of the subtleties of the engineering change number. The grips that came on this one are Hogues, but they don't have the big round ugly hunk of rubber on the right side like most Hogues do, and they have the S&W logo. The grip on the left was the factory grip from my 25-7

Those Hogues with the S&W logo and dual speed loader cutouts were factory original on the 29-6 and 629-4 before the switched to the round butt frame. My 29-4 classic hunter came with factory Hogues too but it was the other style with the big right shield and no logo.
The dual cutout square butt ones are the nicest and most desirable but you can only get them used. I picked up 2 or 3 sets from eBay over the years but they are hard to find. I haven’t been able to find a set for a while. You can still buy round butt, S&W logo brand new
