WHEN I GOT MY RUGER SS S7 327 I THOUGHT IT WAS DEFECTIVE BECAUSE WHEN TURNED THE CYLINDER TO THE NO GOING BACK POSITION I COULD NOT CHAMBER A ROUND. HAD A BOWEN PACKAGE DONE ON IT, PLUS FREE SPIN CYLINDER, PLUS A BISLEY HAMMER, THE FREE SPIN CURED THE "DEFECT".

I think this is a little like comparing a Porsche to a Camero, both are fun, you can buy the less expensive one and still have money left over to personalize it but it still wont be the Porsche.
I have the S7 Bisley and really like it and I am dressing it up by the way but in the end I know it would take a lucky fluke to ask it to shoot with what any FA 97 will do...

I wanted a stainless bisley s7 so I had to make one, Ruger just started selling the hammers again so I could finally complete it. All in all its one of my favorite pieces. Small, comfortable and a joy to shoot. It may not be able to accomplish what a 97 will but it will hit an inch at 25 which is about the best I can do.

Thanks for the compliments! No that is the factory S7 sight, maybe the camera angle is making it look taller?

I did the same and done a Bisley conversion on one of my 7.5" Single Sevens.
Bought one of the Bisley 22s and swapped parts. Then sold the plow handle 22.

Would have custom built from Single Six 32 H&R or 22. 327 and 32/20 cylinders, bisley grip, 6 1/2" barrel. Not a fan of Single Seven, would not own another. Like Ruger bisley better than Freedom Arms for shooting, fits my hand better.

Groo here I would get the ruger done. Less money, and a gun built YOUR way......

You could also go with a Ruger Blackhawk in 327. They're spendy revolvers now.

Of those two, I would choose the FA97. As someone said in a previous post, I would also opt for a 32-20 cylinder. I simply think the 97 is a much nicer firearm. The S7 I own has been to David Clements for his tune up package. The trigger is very very nice and it shoots well with a wide variety of loads. Nevertheless, of all the .32's I own, and the number is growing rapidly, it is my least favorite.
