This one is by my friend John Powers. There is no question that he is going to be extremely well known and sought out for all his skills. He is already an accomplished and well known rifle builder but there is so much more. This man can color case, anodize aluminum, works to extremely close tolerances, and man can he weld. I think for sixguns, it's those skills that set these men apart from the rest. More, I can tell you he is an absolute gentleman and I can say judging from the pictures you can see for yourself he has an eye for proportion. I met John while working with Alan Harton and John and Alan are close friends. Ok, that's enough. Look at this elegant Single Seven 327 Federal. Top strap has been welded up and flattopped. A Damascus sleeve has been fitted over the barrel. Look at that ivory. More than all of that is the over all style and proportion of this piece. I don't know who owns this one but what a treasure!!! Those are one piece ivory stocks by the way! First, the base gun: And now the completed work of art:

John is a great metal smith and he knows a pretty gun. That’s a beautiful gun Fermin.

Is the rear sight custom machined or did it come off of something else? (Colt?)
