Always liked the Sharps style rifles. I had a Browning B78 at one point in time, and while it was nice and not a Sharps it didn't satisfy the need so I sold it to my brother so I still get visitation rights. Each time I go to a gun store in West Louisville KY I look for them. About 1 out of 3 visits I will find one and I always seem to find something wrong with them and talk myself out of buying it. Once I leave I regret it. This time I found one and could not leave without it. Pedersoli Sharps in 45-70. Selling Marlin 45-70 guide gun to its previous owner to help fund this purchase, apparently I am cheaper than a pawn shop on holding guns. Hope to get it to the range this weekend.

My first '74 was a Uberti, fine shooting rifle. After a few years went by I decided I wanted one with Made in USA on it, so I ordered a new C. Sharps from Big Timber. Still have it.
