I'm doubting it would but I got some "Unique soot" on mine and it doesn't want to come off.

Granted, I haven't tried too hard yet.... like soap and water but they dirty up pretty easily.

I love the look. I just worried about staining. If it can be done, I'd be the one to do it (about 15 minutes after installing).

I hope they come out in florescent orange or blue or mud brown.

Love the look. VZ is based here in Tallahassee and they are a great bunch of guys. Might try a pair on my Model 57 Classic

I doubt if it is actually staining you are seeing as opposed to just plain dirty.
Nope , not insulting your gun hygiene but commenting on a exposed rough texture on Micarta/G10 . The open texture is just a billion little pockets for muck to get into. It's like a bead blasted gun being harder to clean than a polished one.
VZ leaves them pretty coarse and I'll bet a little 600/800 plus buffing will make them easier to clean.
Or ,,, just get a nice ,even coat of paw prints on them and live with it.

I ran across a set of the checkered VZ grips in black/gray, VZ calls them "Tactical Diamonds". Decided to try them on my Model 25. They don't seem to be as sharply checkered as another set I remember, these are just about perfect. Might have to invest in a set in a more appealing color.
