Got the Standard SA out for a little shooting this morning . Here are targets shot @20yds . These are basically the first shots out of the gun . I tried some common factory loads and some common hand loads . Not a very good day for me to shoot , should have waited as I just came off of my mid-shifts, pretty ornery and stingy eyed this morning, I was starting to fade by the second target already . Bullets were cast of clip-on WW's and sized to .452 . After todays range session there is no trace of leading at all in the barrel . The gun is going to be accurate , no doubt about it . These are all 5-shot groups except for the center group on both targets , which are both 6-shot groups.

Think Id be happy with that. Wish they'd make an adjustable sight version like the New Frontier.
Congratulations on adding a fine one...

Looks good to me. You got a shooter and a fine sixgun. Think Id be happy with that. Wish they'd make an adjustable sight version like the New Frontier. Congratulations on adding a fine one... I agree 100%!!

Yes , I agree with you guys, it would be great if they did a NF style gun or better yet a close copy of the Keith compass .45 , now that would be nice ! As it is though, I am pretty happy with the sight regulation as it will be an easy adjustment on this gun, tighten the bbl enough for about .015 blade movement to the right and it will be right in there, piece of cake .

I'd take just a dovetail front sight and tweaked rear sight notch, but the flat top target would cost me money for sure.

J-frame rear sight, bisley hammer, Zane, etc, etc, etc... While normally I’d say “YES!” To the Zane comment, the wood on it is already pretty. So unless i wanted a bone of some sort, he is pretty set with the grips.

Kooz, If I changed anything it'd be trying my bullets sized .454?

I’m just guessing but I think 2 piece grip frames would be difficult to fit grips to with out the whole gun. Is the grip frame stable and consistent without the gun?
