Really glad I never caught the 32 bug or I'd be in trouble!

Mine is sure not as beautiful as this gun is, but I have an S&W that was converted to 32/20, with a Model 15 frame, a 4" Model 16-4 barrel, and a Model 17 or 18 cylinder. The cylinder rechamber at least was supposed to have been done by Mr. Bowen's shop, I doubt the whole gun was put together by him as there are no marking's but all was done very well and it is a very nice shooter, it also was not refinished but looks OK by me. The best part of this story was I bought it on GB, from the same guy I sold my NIB 32 Colt Officers Model Match to whom I had met by responding to his want-to-buy ad on the Colt Forum & I did not even realize it was the same person at first. I paid him about 1/4 of what he had paid me, and I have shot this one for years, so it's worked out well for me. I had owned the Colt for a long time but as it was NIB I could never bring myself to fire it, I thought as it had remained that way since 1940 I would leave it that way too.

pattontime: THE COLT OFFICERS MODEL 32 IS A grail GUN, NOT MANY MADE, ALL PRE-WAR, QUITE A REVOLVER.

"...finally a nice set of Bighorn Magnas courtesy of Patrick Grasshorn..." ...the grips alone are already a masterpiece
