Seems like that one or one similar has been around before. I always wish it was a blued gun. I've never had a custom DA gun and I'm always tempted. Seems like a good price considering the cost of the Bowen work is more than the asking price.

And....I'm not sure but I think I remember there being no more .475s being built on the Redhawks.

Guess someone up there in Alaska bought it.
Bowen still lists the conversion on his website. I think the ported barrels are his own design so I guess his disclaimer about reboring availability doesn't preclude these.

The gun belongs to a friend of mine. He bought it last winter. It had been for sale on a few forums last winter in the lower 48. I've shot it. It's perfect, I wish I was in a position to buy it and get geared up for 475. That custom Bowen barrel with the brake is sweet. He's selling because of some life issues that came up. He's also selling a couple of his octagon FA's. 50 AE/500Wyo and a 454. Both with a bunch of options and like new condition. He's also a forum member here. brobertson
If the link does not work he may have sold it and pulled the ad. He had a guy up here interested in it but as of day before yesterday had seen no $$. He may have made the deal yesterday.
