Recieved my SA from Standard today, serial#5 . -Timing good -Clean trigger, guessing about 4lbs -Very very smooth action. Some may think it sprung a little stiff, but for me it's just about right , this will not need any action work...Nice ! -BBL/Cyl gap .004 gapped perfectly square -Cyl throats .452......balls on at .452 , checked with plug gauge initially , then verified with Starrett split ball and 0-1" mic , all 6 throats right on +/- .0001 -It is a short forcing cone, looks like 11* to me and appears to be cut squarely . -Cyl length 1.620 (ratchet not included ) -Cyl dia 1.675 - Removeable cyl bushing like 2nd gen -Removable firing pin bushing -1st gen style cone firing pin

Sounds like a great gun!!! How about the forcing cone? Do you think it is 11 degrees?

From this side of the computer, it seems like your description could be summed up as "It's perfect." Is there anything about it that is less-than perfect so far?

Sorry about these pics, I am horrible with the camera.
Your pictures will improve tremendously if you get out of the sunlight and into the shade.

The gun feels solid .....right out of the box , no drama, just like it should be when your paying 2K . Pointability is very natural and the grips feel good to me. I know a lot of this is subjective as people like different things, and what I like may not be perfect for someone else , but this seems like a home run so far . But still need to see how it shoots.

Overcast sky helps when shooting blued or stainless steel.

Sweet! My order is still pending. I'm guessing I'm one of the backlogged customers.

Sounds like a great gun!!! How about the forcing cone? Do you think it is 11 degrees? Yes, it is a short forcing cone, looks like 11* to me and appears to be cut squarely . Barrel also looks very nice and smooth .
