What I'm wondering is, which of the available grips from Hogue are the thinnest ? Think someone here once told me the white, ivory looking ones were at that time. i looked at the website last week and my mind was kinda boggled at all the options they had. Second question, do they tend to fit better than the OEM's ?

All I can tell you is the Black Micarta ones are thicker than the stock grips. They fit my hands fine. As for fit the last pair I put on the l/h panel fit perfectly the r/h needed the locator pin hole enlarged and was a little proud. The ones previous fit like they were made for the grip frame, except the .454 I had to fill the locator pin holes and then drill to match to grip frame. Rugers fault not Hogue. I have them on all my stainless Bisleys.

Ok, thanks. Can cross the black Micarta off my possibles list. When I get to calling, ordering, certainally I'll ask over the phone, the opinion of the Hogue employee too.

My hogue bisley grips are walnut and are thicker. That thickness is a good thing for heavy kickers. Fit was good on a blued frame.
