Whenever someone on this forum asks the question "Which one should I get?" there will always be someone who says "Get them both." That's what I had to do with these 5-shot Bisleys Bought the 454 when they first came out got the 480 last week. Good finish work both but the grips had to be replaced with Hogue Black Micarta. B/C gaps are 0.008" on the 454 and 0.0025 on the 480. Cylinder throats were pin gauged at 0.454" and 0.477" respectively. Pin gauged the 480 barrel at 0.464" cant remember if I checked the 454 bore. All the reloading supplies except the bullets are here had to find throat size before ordering. Ordered three weights 420gr WLN-GC, 400gr WFN-GC both sized .477" dia. Ordered 50 375gr WLN-GC but only get them in .476" dia. We'll see how they do.
Anyway just wanted to thank all of the enablers on this site.

ACTUALLY THE CORRECT TERM IS "BUY 'EM BOTH"!

Nice! Grips look good, how is the fit? Haven't seen them before.

As usual Mr. Taffin is correct on the terminology.
Domino300, the Hogues fit better than the factory grips but may need the locator pin hole opened up a little of filled and re-bored. They are also thicker and fit my hands better. I have four sets installed at the present time,
