Just found this Colt Trooper MKIII at a local gunshow. I’ve been searching for a nice one for awhile.

Nice! What is the durability like on these? Have heard about powdered/sintered parts failure on some of the Colts in this timeframe.

I used to fondle one at the sporting goods store I worked at in high school, it was a 22mag. It was a nice revolver.

I got kind of hooked on the Troopers during a time you could still get sweet models for fair prices. I totally enjoy all the models: Trooper, Trooper III, and the Trooper V.
These usually come with excellent fit and finish and a nice grip. I've never pushed one hard enough to see any problems.

Other guns I noticed at the gun show, were numerous I frame S&W revolvers. I hardly ever saw these, yesterday, I saw at least 10 for sale. Cute little things.
