Since Marlin built many of these in the late 80's early 90's and they come with out the cross bolt safety. In 2005/06 they built 600 or so with cross bolt safety any one have a 80pct or better finished one they would like to adopt out? either era is fine... Thanks

Late 80s, early 90s, as I recall... can't help you on the cross bolt safety, though. I just wish I had bought one.

I finally gave up and went with the steel Henry 327. Yikes,,,,, That's a heavy gun.
