The latest 25-20 revolver is a score.
A five shot Huntington built masterpiece. As expected, the fit and finish are first rate.
Gun was modified to work without a base pin latch. The frame was weled and recontoured to operate like the FA revolvers. A #5 style base pin locks into the barrel. Very sexy!!!
Cylinder is counterbored and sports throats dead on .2585". Perfect for cast bullet loads.
Action is butter smooth and reassembled with Power Custom springs.
There is absolutely no barrel gap. Im not quite sure how it funtions. But, not a mark left on the cylinder face.
Grips are simulated Ivory. I may end up adding some custom walnut panels later. But, these are very nice indeed.
Shooting will come soon. The machine work on this one exceeds my six FA97s. I expect it will do just fine.

Nice. Where does 25-20 brass come from? Resized 32-20? I have a 327 Blackhawk that I can't warm up too, might be a good donor.

I have plenty of 25-20 brass. But can be formed from 32-20 or 218 Bee.

Spent some time loading for and shooting this gem last evening. Performance was flawless as expected.
Accurate and not a hint of leading.
The gun wears the Ruger Silhouette front sight that works so well with my eyes. The rear blade will likely be upgraded to a white outline. Or maybe even a peep sight blade.
My 25 caliber revolvers stand as follows:
1) 250 GNR - 6.5" octagon Single Seven from Reeder. (7-Shot) 2) 25-20 WCF - 7.5" Stainless Bisley from Reeder. (6-Shot) 3) 25-20 WCF - 7.6" Blue Bisley from Huntington. (5-Shot)
My next will be from Reeder in his new 251 Falcon. Since its basically a 25-20 Improved, I'll add a 25-20 cylinder to it when its built.
This has been and continues to be exciting times in the revolver world.

Gave this gun a good working out. From cast over Unique to full power "Magnum" loads of 4227 and 60 grn jacketed. Not any problems feeding the gun and not a hint of setback.
Truly a small game hunter's dream revolver.
