Rescued this from a local pawn shop, thought I'd share. I believe it's a 3rd change, built around 1912-1913 or so. Fine little sixgun, carried a lot and shot very little. Just makes me grin. B

Very cool for a double action but that holster is great.

I grew up shooting and reloading for that 32-20 in a first gen Colt SAA. Lots to be said for that caliber.
I haven't found the replacement for the one that got away through the family.
I gotta start checking out pawn shops.

Great combination there! I would have had to grab that one myself. I have always wanted to play around with a .32-20 M&P. Seems like a lot of fun there.

Congratulations on a great score!
I came across a 4th change example this past week (also in .32-20). It intrigued me but wasn't nearly as good-looking as yours... had a 4" bbl., IIRC.

PRE WWII S&W AND COLT MADE A LOT OF 32-20 DA REVOLVERS SO SOMEBODY WAS BUYING AND USING THEM. EVEN TODAY THEY ARE VIABLE OUTDOORSMAN AND PLINKING REVOLVERS. GREAT GUNS. YOURS LOOKS REALLY NICE.

Very nice! I just picked up a 1902 vintage Marlin 1984 in .32-20, so I will be looking for one of those myself now...
