My Bowen is completed. Now I have a Stainless Bisley in 45 Colt that needs changed. The most important thing is changing calber. Not sure I need bigger, so maybe convert it to 44 mag. Do SS 357 or 44 mag cylinders ever become available? A new barrel and rechambered cylinder shouldn't be too costly.

If it were me I would go with an oversized long custom cylinder in 44 or 41 mag.

Funny, I’ve got a SS 45 colt Bisley that is going to be sent off to be SW barreled, and Long cylindered. Only it will stay a 45 colt.

Several long S&W 29 barrels on GB most days which you can have hard chromed to match your SS gun or there was even a 629 barrel the other day.

Can't go 445 in a standard bisley. If only Ruger would make a maximum length Bisley.

Steve Webb has a nice 357 max for sale on GB now. Buy it, spend a couple hundred on bisley parts and find a long model 29 S&W barrel and you are set for a low budget long cylinder 6 shot ribbed barrel custom bisley!

I got a nice 357max. I was a gift, promised wife I wouldn't convert it. A 357 max bisley would be nice
