I am contemplating a journey down the rabbit-hole that is .41 Colt. I found a store that is revolver nerdvana, and they have several rather reasonably priced Colts in .41 Colt. I'm tempted... they actually have rather a lot of tempting wheelguns of several varieties, but the only ones that seem to be a genuine path to pain are those .41s...

...this crew isn't well known for talking people OUT of purchasing another revolver. Can't wait to see some pics once you get it!

Yup, what they said. The only way you might get some help is if you post a name/website or something to the shop. Then maybe some of the temptation might go away.

The shop in question is DJ's Loans and Sports in Bothell, WA, and the place is wall-to-wall with cool guns. The variety is crazy- I was distracted from the Marlin .45-70 carbine (!) by a Winchester in 38-55... and the pistol cases are worse than the racks!

I bought my first 41 Colt revolver, a Colt M1892 in the mid 90's & back then it was TUFF finding ammo & reloading components. I mean you really had to work at it!..Today it's a piece of cake, so I say go for it.

Just to add fuel to the 41 Colt fire, it's my understanding that 36 caliber Colt Navy clones are an easy conversion to 41 Colt using the .386 inside lubed bullet. (or so I've read anyway)

Tinkerpearce,
If you only knew all the neat stuff that Bruce has in back at DJ's. You think that the stuff out front is cool, it's nothing compared to what Bruce has hidden in the back........
