Are the cylinder throats right like the later 25-5s and 25-7s?

I could see a 27-2 with the 5" barrel going to Segrist/Horvath for a 5" model..... Would probably end up costing more but when did that ever slow me down.....

LOL, Not having any high tech things like pins etc., as near as I can tell the throats are about .452 based on a .451.5 bullet not quite falling thru and a .452+ not coming close to dropping thru the holes. With a dial caliper I get inaccurate readings of .451 to .452 app.

yes, got lucky...twice. I remember Ross S. mentioning them in a mountain gun article back in the last 80's. After 30 years of looking I managed to find 2 26-1s that were reasonably priced. I bought them both.

Wow! I have seen several for sale over the years, but they were not affordable to me at least, until this one came along. Oddly I only paid $10 more for this than for the recent 625 I got.
