Have to change the way I do a few things. I love the 44 magnum and wish to hunt with it as well as punch paper and am looking for a long gun to do so with. Thought my prayers had been answered with the Henry in 1:16 twist which was a typo Now I know the Henry has a tighter bore than the JM Marlins and New Haven Winchesters but the same slow twist. My options right now are those three as I can get a 20" JM Marlin or 16" Winchester 94AE locally or order a new CCH Henry..... decisions decisions 🤔🤔😊

The only decision I see here is which one first! I've slipped on the slippery lever gun slope myself. I watch the used gun rack for interesting specimens daily. Winchesters and Marlins only right now.

I just can't seem to warm up to the Henry myself. Zing and bling with super walnut, then most folks say they shoot well. They few I have handled, just don't balance well in my thoughts. Jeff
