Can people stop naming things Tactical in scary fonts? Ha Ha, it's funny.... apparently I too have been so inundated with "Tactical" in the names of gun gear over the past few years that I've become numb to it. It wasn't even until you just pointed it out that I realized this Nikon Reflex was named the P-Tactical. If you'd have asked me 5 seconds after I shared the link I wouldn't have been able to tell you the model name or number other than it was a new Nikon something or other red dot sight. As for the font, it doesn't scare me, so I guess I'm numb to that stuff too. As I mentioned, I didn't mean to derail the thread at all, just saw the new sight on a SHOT SHOW review article right before reading the OP's post and thought I'd share a new product that was similar with what appears to be decent features at a reasonable price point. Oh, and just so I CAN contribute something positive to the OP's question... I have 2 Burris FF3's that I'm very pleased with (but neither of them are on big boomers, so I'm no use there). Stump

I run the Burris 'red-dots'. I've got 3 0f them, a II and 2 IIIs. I've had II on a 45-70 Contender barrel. They'll hold up.
