I had said that I'd skip this one due to recently purchasing the 5" GP100 in the same caliber. But, it would seem I lied.
Yesterday, I got to hold one at my LGS. Like the last few Rugers I've bought, the gun is flawless.
The fit and finish are as good as any revolver I've ever held. A .002" feeler gauge won't even think about fitting in the BC Gap. Even the grips fit as they should.
Now, I don't know if this is a sign of things to come from Ruger or not. But, the last few have been top of the line.
When the Single Six Bisley 22s came out, I bought several. But, also passed on a few that I wouldn't have bought for base guns.
Guess time will tell...

I haven't come across one yet fortunately unfortunately.
Thankfully (and unfortunately) all the LGS's around my area are more geared towards semi-auto's and tacti-cool than anything else, I highly doubt they'd allow one of them there "cowboy guns" to come through their doors, so with that being said it momentarily halts me from purchasing when I shouldn't be anyways.
But great to hear that they're coming out as well built as they are, just makes not seeing one that much more difficult.

Mine has been sitting at my LGS since Monday, hope to pick it up tomorrow. I also hope it's as good as my new 5" GP!

I for one have to give Ruger and Henry kudos for breathing life back into the 32s. Seems like 100 years ago with a lever action 32 and matching revolver.

I ordered the SS Bisley last week from my local dealer. It’s in and I will be picking it up tomorrow. I hope it lives up to the reports above as far as build quality.

Hope so too, but no guarantee on that. My LGS got in six Bisley SS 22s. Two were top of the line, built like a swiss watch. The other four should have been trout line weights.

Went to pick up the Single 7 Bisley today, and did not accept it. I asked my dealer to send it back to Lipsey’s and request another. He did not think they would accept it back and he would have to deal with Ruger. He was going to call them. I told him that I still want one, just one that works as it is supposed to.
This gun should have never left the factory. The cylinder would lock up and not rotate consistently. It did this with the loading gate open as well as when you cycled the hammer/trigger to simulate firing. Very poor QC on Ruger’s behalf. The front sight was loose (easily fixed, but should not have to) and the front sight screw slot was buggered up. The top strap blueing was marred down to bare steel where the rear sight cross pin was installed.
Aside from all of that, the balance and look of this gun is great. I really like the Bisley grip frame. I hope to be able to check out a replacement late next week.

I had decided not to buy, but simply couldn't refuse a gun built so perfectly. My LGS laughs at me because I measure chambers, throats, cylinder gap, alignment, etc. But, I believe you completely because I witnessed the exact same thing with the 22s. I had hoped this was a trend, but seems like just simple dumb luck.

The frustrating thing was the guy at the dealer asked if I had taken out the cylinder. Yes, I responded. He then decided to take it out and replace it himself as he stated I must have put it in crooked. Surprise, the cylinder still locked up. It only goes in one way or the base pin will not seat, I told him. Then he tried to tell me I had to put the hammer on half cock for the cylinder to rotate. Not with a Ruger I stated, there is no half cock. I despise being second guessed by sales people that are less than informed.

Thank you Sir for your report on guns problems. Just made it easy to justify going custom route instead of taking a chance again.

I picked my single 7 Bisley 327 up today. It's really nice. It has a good finish and seems to work fine. I don't really care for the laminated grips but the color on these was dark and they look ok. I had to move the back sight blade noticeably off center to the right to get the point of impact correct. I think this will be one of my favorite Rugers ever.
