Was quite surprised to find a LCRx 38 Special under the tree this year. Even more surprised that it was from my 77 year old mother. No doubt my LGS manager was involved.
The 3" adjustable sight model. What a great little woods carry gun. 9 oz lighter than my Bearcat.

Still rides ATVs and just bought herself a new, bigger one. But, spoils my grandkids something awful.

Barranti made me a slick Ranch Rig for mine. For me the LCRx 3” 38 Special carries a healthy dose of shot while being super lightweight and out of the way. Hard to beat for summer time chores around the lease. About the only problem you might have is remembering you’re wearing it!

Have one coming in the 8 shot 22! Would do the 38 if I were sure that it would not show up as a .327 FM later? Let us know how it shoots...

I've rented and shot them. Good shooters. Would like to see Hogue adapt that grip to the SP 101 Series that's on the 3" LCR, after all these years still struggling with SPs to find the perfect grip. Best wood one that I have found is the Jaruwan made wood grip from Thailand. They squirm a bit especially under 357 recoil. They need some additional anchors like Altamont uses.
Sorry drifted there a bit. That 3" will become a "constant companion".

We have a 3” 38, my wife has claimed it as hers. A picture of an LCRx should be in the dictionary beside the definition of kit gun.

I weighed it today fully loaded with 158 JHP ammo at 18.6 ounces. About half that of a Ruger Single Six.
