Very Nice Snyd, I'm sure it will be put to good use! Congrats on a great find,, I sent my early 6" model as per Johns suggestion when I sent it in to have a set of grips made in Black Micarta and a 45 Colt cylinder made for it. He did say he was going to put the taller sight on for use with the 45 Colt cylinder, but that revolver left the factory as a 454 only. The 7 1/2" I have like your's was 454 only with just the winewood grip's. I didn't find it to hard to find excellent accuracy with any bullet, but it did seem to like top end charges for best accuracy. My best luck was with 300 grain and heavier, with my 340 gr. GC custom WFN from Mountain molds, out past 100 yards it's accuracy realy showed over other loads. Only three shots, but it shot many 5 shot groups under 2" at that range when I did my part with Federal 215 primers and H110 in FA cases. I never wanted the Magna port on either of mine, but the 4 5/8" I had would have been a good candidate for it.

FA guns are awesome guns. I want to send my 50AE in for a 500 WY cylinder.
