I have seen only one video with actual accuracy report. 10mph gusty winds and sub 1"groups @ 50yds with CCI Standard Velocity. Like usual in all my rimfires, I plan to shoot a minimum 15-18 different loads when working mine out

*****
To shoot a sub-inch group against “gusty 10 mph winds" from half a football field with a .22 Long Rifle, or any sixgun, requires perfect to to actual wind drift. Specifically, a full value wind----from 9 o’clock or from 3 o’clock----bends the bullet more than an inch. A light breeze turns group shooting @ 50 or 100 yards with a .22, or a revolver, into a severe challenge. Those who think otherwise should step to the firing line at a bench rest match or handgun silhouette match to demonstrate their heroic skill. This, Markbo, is nor an observation on you. Rather, it is an observation on power of air in time. David Bradshaw

I'm sure they are accurate... I am just not, or ever have been, & have no wish to pretend, that I'm an "operator" the look of the gun does nothing for me... I guess I'm an old fuddy dud... I'd rather have a wood stocked, heavy, hammer forged, 10-22 with a few goodies... but good on Ruger for putting out guns nearly everyone can lust after in one form or another

I have fought that fight many times. Unfortunately, while my rifle arrived today we are expecting extremely cold & windy conditions for several days so I am not going to waste my time testing different loads until it calms down some, but I WILL report when I finally get a chance.

Mine arrived yesterday. Braved the icy roads to pick it up. I am impressed with the overall quality. The little bolt is actually quite nice. Seems very light overall and the fore end is quite small diameter, but it is flat on the bottom. But no test data from me. Temp in the 20s with freezing rain and windy here today and tomorrow. Too cold for us SE Texas boys!

I am hoping it's more accurate on a calm day. My stock 10/22 with plastic trigger group parts shoots sub-inch groups at 50 yards with your basic $17/500 brick of 22 LR. (old pricing, clearly). This is literally the 1st 10-shot group with the new Nikon rimfire scope attached. I have the new upgraded Ruger trigger group but not sure I want to mess with it....

No shooting yet - still too cold and windy - but some initial impressions:
The rifle is light. I am guessing 6 lbs without a scope. The barrel was filthy. Took 12-14 patches using Butch's Bore Shine. There was a big blob of light yellow grease on top of the trigger mechanism. Both excessive in my opinion, but both easily cleaned up.
Overall, the fit and finish is absolutely first rate. The bolt is a little piece of beauty. Really well done and captures the round fully out of the magazine. I don't know what chamber it has. Several rounds pushed in with some resistance - did not slip right in - but none contacted the rifling so far as I could tell.
I LOVE the short bolt throw. I see no reason to alter it to the longer throw. The adjustable stock is very well done. All adjustments easily/quickly done and secure. My favorite feature though has to be the trigger. Average of 2lbs-11oz with a TINY amount of take up (not creep) and zero over travel. For a Rugerit is first rate.
I will post a shooting report within 3 or 4 days. Bear with me. If it turns out 1/2" @ 50yds or better I will be very happy.
