I've got a lot of scopes... and this is the 1st time I've run into this... I just bought a new scope for my in line muzzle loader ( MN has now legalized the use of scopes on all seasons that you can use a muzzle loader, so I thought it was time ) I bought a new Weaver Kaspa 1 - 4 X 24 mm... with the small front lens, I just assumed it was a 1" Tube... so I bought a set of Weaver 4X4 rings, and when the scope showed up today, I realized the tube is much bigger... at least 30mm maybe bigger ( might just look bigger since the lens is of the smaller variety ) but no where on the box, or any of the paperwork does it list the tube diameter... Strange that you can't in effect mount the scope without internet or other data... Heading off now to try to find the diameter of this new scope, so I can order the correct rings

I have another Weaver Kaspa scope that has a 40-44 mm lense, & pretty sure that one was a 1" tube... this one looks "beefy" & is pretty heavy for it's size... Midway's technical info on that scope lists it as a 30 mm... now I have to buy "tactical" 30 mm rings for my muzzleloader

I'm sure it's 30 mm. The 1-4×24 Kaspa is competing along the lines as the 1-4×24 30mm tube Vortex Crossfire II. Used offer on AR15 rifles and carbines. I have the Vortex and like it very much . Much brighter than the 1-4×20 Leupolds I used to have on my rifles. Plus, mine is the illuminated center dot so it's Very fast on target. I think once you get yours mounted you will like it a lot. I'm in the process of switching ALL our rifle scopes to 30 mm tube scopes.

Some of those tactical rings are just way to heavy. I have 3 Knight Wolverines with one 3x9 [wifes] and two straight 4 powers. I like to set my scopes so I have to crowd the stock to get a full field of view. The light weight Wolverines will bite you if you don't. Tactical rings and a Brown Bess bayonet and you are all set.

These are the rings I ordered... they are aluminum, as are my 2 piece bases www.midwayusa.com/product/710587/weaver-6-hole-weaver-style-rings-mattescope is a camo unit www.midwayusa.com/product/460036/weaver-kaspa-muzzleloader-rifle-scope-30mm-tube-1-4x-24mm-ballistic-x-reticle-mossy-oak-break-up-camo ( funny that Midway say's it's a 30 mm tube in several places, but the scope box & all accompanying paperwork, does not list the tube size ) ( my Knight KRB-7 is stainless, & also camo... would be nice if they were matching camo patterns ) rings & bases are both flat black... should look & perform pretty good... I have fiber optic sights on the gun... the rifle was drilled & tapped in 3 places, so I moved the rear sight up to the front most spot, so I can re-sight it in, with the rear sight in the new position, & can still mount the scope... this should allow me both versatility & durability of being able to use either the sights or the scope I think this is my 2nd or 3rd 30mm scope tube... by a great margin, most of mine are still the "old" 1" tubes...
