Wow...
Makes you think about John Linebaughs fondness of the Smith 25 in .45 colt.

Is that a new to the market factory gun? Or a custom ? That's a Bowen GP45 conversion. The base gun was a Super Redhawk Alaskan .44 Mag.

Is that a Redhawk barrel or an aftermarket barrel that was installed? It turned out awesome.
I assume you started with a 44 and had the cylinder bored? The fluted and chamfered cylinder gives it classic appeal vs starting with a 454 non fluted cylinder.
Not a Redhawk, not a Super Redhawk... An Ultimate Redhawk !

Is that a Redhawk barrel or an aftermarket barrel that was installed? Yes, it's a Redhawk barrel. Was shortened and rebored from .44. Exactly.

Perfect barrel length, and the black powder chamfer is a brilliant touch.

Barrel was one Bowen had coming available from whoever is doing his reboring these days. Was originally a 7", but don't think he necessarily needed that extra length. It just happened to be the one available and not yet spoken for at the time. New front sight is the interchangeable DX.

The first of these types of conversions Bowen did were using Dan Wesson shrouds. Made a dang good looking sixgun! I have a stainless 4" Dan Wesson shroud and all the accessories if somebody wants to swap me out of it.
