I'm doing my state park muzzleloader shoot got my tags filled...trying to fill out my parties last 2 bonus tags, when all of a sudden someone lights off a couple sticks of dynamite, followed by a 3rd shot... got the chance to go over and chat with those two guys... handicapped hunter was using a double barrel 72 caliber double rifle... 2 quick shots, followed by a 3rd, and they had 2 nice does...72 Caliber was a Kodiac double rifle from Cabelas killed a doe using the express leaf sights at an estimated 125 yards... man that thing was loud... will post a couple hunt pics, including the muzzle of the double rifle Monday, if I can find the time

Couldn't find one I shot at the end of the day yesterday, it got onto a trail, that after careful back tracking, had 3 other bleeding deer that had gotten onto it ( apparently tracking wounded deer gets much more challenging when so many are shot in such a small area, over a short period of time ) ... this morning, since there are less people in the park hunting, I decided I would do a drive, and try to push the deer from the side of the park, to the middle where our party was hunting... ran across another doe pretty far south in the park that was dead, likely shot the 1st day, and another which I think was mine, that I gutted and tagged early this morning turned out it was too warm to let an un-gutted deer lay all night... she was stinky, & I had to toss it... but the the button buck from day one was pretty small, but will be tasty...

A man was fishing with dynamite once. Light the stick, toss in water, kaboom, then row out and collect the fish. Warden came over and told him "You can't fish with dynamite." The guy picked up a stick of dynamite, lit it, handed it to the warden, and said "Are you gonna talk, or are you gonna fish?"
(I love that joke)

This will make you miss... this view from my stand... in state park, can't cut any branches... note the black powder burn on two branches & the bark scalped off by the bullet grazing it...

Standing a little close to the branches. Looks like you were trying to do a little pruning.Like that 72 Cal.Friend has a 4 bore he built 150 gr 3fff and a 4oz ball will prune a 3in cedar right off.
