Having it built on a large frame gives a little more leeway when picking your GNR 41 rechamber. It would definitely take the 44 mag necked to 41, not as sure about the 445 or 454 necked down to 41 given that it's a 6 shot.

Really wish this was built on the mid-frame; but I would be happy with it either way. Looking forward to more information on it!
Too many things going on right now and I need a larger toy budget...

The 41 GNR is a .410" gun.

Ruger is sure giving the 10mm a big boost, with the Blackhawk, & Super Redhawks this year... I may actually do the Blackhawk, & use my 10 mm Magnum reamer to convert the 40 S&W cylinder...

Funny that the other day I was envisioning a 10mm/40S&W/401 Herters Powermag midframe convertible.

Well, it looks like there will soon be yet another new Ruger in my collection. I've always had an affection for the 10mm & that 40 S&W cylinder will rechamber to 38-40 so very easily...Thanks again Lipsey's!

If that combo were in the mid frame I'd buy it and the 40 S&W cylinder would become a 38-40 in short order.

Large frame and stainless, no sale. Might even part with my Buckeye.

I see a rechambering of the .40 cylinder to .38-40 This. Seems to me a tight chambered .38-40 would satisfy many of those looking for the return of the 357 Maximum. While I fully realize that a simple rechamber isn't the same as a full custom, John Linebaugh claims his six-shot .38-40 conversions spit out 180gr bullets at 1800fps and 200-grainers at 1650. Sounds like good fun to me...
