Hello All, I was wondering if a Trijicon RMR survive on a 500 S&W Magnum? Cabelea's is advertising a great deal on one tomorrow only. Thanks. Boats

Well, two more RMRs headed my way.
To answer the OP, yeah I think the RMR would do just fine on a 500. They handle the battering of a slide and have held up well on big bore SA guns that weigh a lot less than the X frame.
Mine will be going on a 414 SuperMag and maybe a 500 Linebaugh, and I have no worries of them failing.

Answer for OP, yes if it does fail. Trijicon will repair or replace. I know Leupold will with their Delta red dot sights. I prefer the Leupold with the delta aiming point. I use the apex of the triangle for the fine sighting applications.
